Reparil Gel is a venotonic medication of the vegetable origin. It reduces capillary permeability and has venotonic, anti-inflammatory and angioprotective action. The active substance in Reparil Gel is Escin. Escin prevents water retention in tissues and suppresses the formation of edema by penetration through the skin. Reparil Gel suppresses inflammation and eliminates local swelling. Dietilaminsalitsilat has anti-inflammatory properties, which intensify Escin, cause the analgesic effect. Inhibits inflammation, improves microcirculation and helps in repairing tissues and organs after traumas.
Reparil is indicated for the treatment of injuries of the different origin (bruises, sprain or ligament rupture, hematoma), tenosynovitis. Clinical trials showed amazing results of the Reparil gel in the treatment of post-traumatic and postoperative hematoma, swelling of soft tissues, including cerebral edema. Reparil Gel is widely used for the prevention and relief of edema in surgical interventions on the organs and tissues (including plastic surgery, proctology (hemorrhoids) and urology).
Unless otherwise directed, a thin layer of the gel should be applied to the skin over the affected area several times daily.
